I should be a familiar face to most people associated with the Quinault Nation. I’ve been married to Jennifer (McCrory) for almost 24 years and we have three children, Gina, who lives in Omak (and has two sons Nickolys and Dristan), David and his wife Danita who reside in Ketchikan, AK, and Matthew from Olympia. My son Matthew and I enjoy golfing and often enter Indian Golfing events. I am of Haida and Gitxsan heritage from Alaska and British Columbia and am enrolled in the Cook Inlet Region, Inc., an Alaska Native Regional Corporation and the Gitanmaax Village of the Gitxsan Nation in northern British Columbia. My work experience has been primarily in intergovernmental relations and until recently I owned and operated ACCESS-Governmental Relations, whose sole purpose was to advocate for tribal and local government issues at the state, local, regional and national levels. Other notable employment experience I have includes Deputy Director of Puget Sound Water Quality Authority, Washington State Association of Counties’ Assistant to Executive Director and City of Seattle and Seattle City Light governmental relations representative to the state Legislature. I’ve also served as the Special Assistant for Indian Affairs to both Governors Spellman and Ray. Community interests and board membership includes Thurston County Dispute Resolution Center, Community Youth Services, the Quinault Nation Enterprise Board. I am the past Chairman of the United Indian of All Tribes Foundation Board of Directors and was a member of the board from 1977-2006. Additionally, I am a lifetime member of Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians and National Congress of American Indians. -- DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL To comment on this message, visit: http://semioticpixels.clientsection.com/P2846931
