In addition, there was an issue noted with my Selective Service registration.  As it turns out, I am registered.  However, the FAFSA system could not make a positive match for two reasons.  The first reason is my name change.  The second reason is that my birthdate is recorded wrong.  It is erroneously recorded as 3/31/1972.  My actual birthday is 3/31/1973.  You will find a screen shot of the search screen for the Selective Service website.  I've been in communication with the Selective Service, I'm in the process with them.  However, I thought I'd send the screen shot in your direction.  Let me know if this information is sufficient.  Or if you need more.
