Do you have the CD for the MPA Tribal Track?  It was made a few years back by some professionals at the state video shop.  It has some great comments from students and faculty.  PUanani should have a copy.  I think you could get photo shots off of it but even better if we had video streaming, since there are some nice interviews---but I don't know if we have that capacity.  To me, comments from alumni are always current.  Although Alan Parker is retired, he is still a resource faculty and participates in classess---he is famous and a draw for us.  I am still teaching and I think my interview does cover relevant basic points about the program, why it exists and what it is designed to do.

I do have some photos of me teaching a recent class...one is fairly animated and might be Ok to use for something.

Also I wrote an article for American Indian Graduate Center for their magazine about two years ago.

One thing that may be important:   the program is mainly taught in Intensive Format on Friday afternoon and the following weekend some online assignments.  This is important tool for recruitment because our cohort comes from all over the state and neighboring states----they wouldn't be able to keep their jobs, lifestyles, etc if they had to move to campus in order to come two nights a week, etc.

Recently there have been two capstone projects that studied the tribal track. One talks about the community and cohort support from a survey of students.  I think there are some positive lines there.  The other is more of a review, but it also has some good material.    We have permission to use them.  I could send you those as well.

We are starting to have some star adjuncts like Rep. John McCoy.  You may already have bios....but if not, they could be useful.

Thanks Laura.  I am looking forward to seeing us get updated with your work.

Hello esteemed MPA faculty and folk-

My name is Laura Hendrix and I am a 2013 MPA grad contracted, through August, to assist in marketing and communications for the MPA and some Rivers of Knowledge programs.  Good news and big changes are on the horizon for the MPA website pages.  Please look for a survey in mid-January regarding your current relationship with the MPA web pages.  In the meantime, if you could take a moment to think of pertinent content that you would like to see featured on the web, especially on our blog formatted newsletter, please forward it on to me hendrixl@evergreen.edu !  We are working hard to collect content that tells an accurate story of the level of professionalism and rigor that exists within our program as well as featuring news and event items that are noteworthy to add to the site.  The blog needs to be relevant and current but also sustainable, meaning the data or content must have a long shelf life.

Other highlights of the new web pages are scheduled to include a mobile ready design, community connect corner, student and alumni profiles, video of faculty, Rivers of Knowledge feature, more photos and less text, faculty history link, and social media connections to linked in and you tube.

Thank you for your time, effort and attention in helping to upgrade the MPA website.  If you have questions or ideas feel free to contact me via phone or e-mail.

Happy end of the quarter to all- Laura
